Consecration
Reading and living your Word
Keeping focused in your direction

Having on half the armour
Makes it impossible to fight
Being submissive to you
This will cause those  demons to flight

New Life

Its just beginning
Life in Jesus Christ
Here's where freedom begin
There's nothing like having Jesus Christ
The Holy Ghost within

No longer bound by the law
But made alive through grace by faith

By His blood I've been redeemed
It's our time to take heed

By the renewing of my mind
For I've been born for His purpose
Because of Him I'm made perfect by design

Looked to be perfected in spirit
Impossible to be perfect by this flesh
For I'm to walk

Strive in the Spirit
To this flesh I'm to die
For its Christ I'm wanting to abide

All But Dung

I'm counting it all but dung
Giving up my life for Jesus Christ
For its in Him that victories are won

Knowing that if I try to save my life
That's when I'll actually loose it
But giving up my life for His
Making a vow that His grace

While living for Him

But this calling
It's personal
Many see to stall at it

Many fall at it

This walk causes for keeping my hands to the plough
For there's no looking back
Keeping on the armour
Never know when the enemy will attack

So my ways for the way's of Christ
This is worth me giving up
Keeping myself like an empty vessel
Just desiring for Him to continuously fill me up

Connected

Yup
I'm now connected to Christ's bloodline
It's by His image that I must define
Which calls for transformation of my mind

Taking off my sinful nature and picking up His
Because I'm now of a spiritual creation
This calls for a life sealed in consecration
Allowing Him to be my motivation

Walking in the Spirit
And not giving into the deeds of my sinful flesh
Both warring against each other
Who I'm willing to surrender myself to
Now here's the test

One no longer am I one of the bond woman
But now I'm of the free
Freedom
Liberty
It's now active
Because I've got Jesus Christ
The Holy Ghost dwelling in me
And He'll continue to bring forth increase to this seed

For years I've desired the gifts of others
Found myself getting so caught up in the ability of others and not acknowledging that which rested in me

No more

Compared myself to others and lessened myself and making others more than what or who they really were

No more

Stood in the background
Allowing my confidence in Christ cripple

No more

I've ran from what and who the Lord has designed for me to be by looking at others
Being too cautious of the thoughts of others
Hid myself underneath the covers of shame
Myself
Yeah I'm to blame

But no more
For I've come to realize that God has so much in store

Decided to let go of this disposition
And decided to take on this Christ mission

Letting these gifts
This praise
This living be about His fame
No more allowing myself to live in vain

Purposed living oving forward with this heart of forgiving

A vessel filled and ready to be used
Christ offered
And it's offer that I choose
And what He had given me
I promise not to misuse

So to that held back spirit
I say goodbye
For what Christ has given me
I will no longer hide

Placing my life in your hand
Because you've promised never to leave nor forsake me
And this I've come to trust and  understand

For I've tried the world
It had chewed me up and had spit me out
Sex
Drugs
Oh yeah the world has something to offer
Temporary happiness
And a fast life

I've had to realize that its not by my might
Nor is by my power that I'm able to stand
But having your Spirit
This was all apart of your plan

A intimate relationship with thee
From my heart to yours
And from your heart to mine
There's peace and safety in you my Saviour divine

Persuaded

See
I've been fully persuaded
Its because of Jesus Christ that I'm motivated

Motivated
Living this new life in Him
For its in Him that I've been consecrated

Continuing on in my liberty
I'm able to do so because I've got the King of kings living inside of me
So why not remain free
After all that He's done for me
