Hiding

What are we hiding behind
The world and their approval of design
Ourselves we're allowing them to define
Have we forgotten who's image we're to transform to
Born again to put that difference
Living and looking apart
Taking on holiness  by Jesus Christ's  design

Allowing that spirit of pride take us over

Saying that we're of Christ but our lifestyle says otherwise
When it's spoken upon by Word it's then truth we despise
Allowing blindness to hit our eyes
Instead of taking in truth we'd rather believe lies
And ourselves we allow the world to defy
But yet again it's Jesus Christ we testify
Our ways
Our fleshly ways we try to justify
Running too that "come as you are"
But transformation
Being Holy in all manner of conversation
Biblical standards we seem to criticize

Be not conformed to the world
We cannot dismiss this
Having that desire to be made up by truth rather than to walk in illusion by the make up of this world
Yeah
This seems to be lacking
Having our lifestyle accompany the very thing we claim
But we rather look like the lifestyle we claim to have been saved from
Our "righteousness" is so vain
What's on the inside ought to be seen heard and felt on the outside
Called too put the difference between Holy and unholy
Between clean and unclean
Walking
Living
Looking like freedom
And not like those spirits of bondage
Which our flesh it feeds

Let's take inventory of what's required of us as born again believes
And not be so quick to jump on the band wagon of deceivers
