How I love it when the Holy Ghost takes control of me
Submitting to it makes me feel so free
Oh when it takes control
I feel a burning down in my soul
In Christ Jesus I've been made whole
Holy Ghost makes me feel so free
Loving my liberty

I've been born again

I've been freed from sin
Nope
No longer bound
No bondage here
Because I've got liberty within

You've called us to live your Word and not just read the pages

We must be courageous
Because Jesus name
Its so contagious
To be without Him would be outrageous

Can't afford to allow self to get in the way

Knowing of I just submit to it

I've been battling with you for quite some time
Allowing you to come between
Messing up friendships that were called by divine
I've allowed you to control my thoughts
Which then allowed you to control my actions
You wouldn't stop until you were able to receive some satisfaction
You made me believe once upon a time that it was impossible to have control over you
Not understanding the power that rest inside I didn't know
And because of the lack of knowledge
you flew
But let me tell you
I've come to the realization
Understanding
That I've got the Greater in me that provides empowerment over you
I feel you acting up at times
But I'm reminded that I'm filled with your creator
Jesus Christ my Saviour
So whether I've got to get on my knees and cry before the Lord before giving into your dirty deeds
I'm reminded that when I submit to the One that's in me
I'm able to remain strong because these feelings will soon flee
So to you flesh
You may war against the Spirit
And yes
The Spirit against you
But who wins the battle
It sure isn't you
The Battle
No one can do me like the Lord can
On Christ Jesus I can depend
He picked me up
And turned me around
And placed my feet up on solid ground
Directed me to Him when I was lost
The Lord freed me by dying on the cross
Greater love has no man than this
I couldn't betray Him
And sealing it with a kiss
His Word is quick and powerful
Sharper than any two edged sword
Kicking against the prick
Is something I cannot afford
There's nothing that anyone can do to me and that's a fact
What could a person do
When grace and mercy has got my back
No one can do me like the Lord can
No one can do me like Jesus
And that's the end

Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled
Not only that
But your broken soul
Will be healed
Waited so long to get to this place
The Lord allowed you to go through so much
So that you would seek His face
It seemed like unto your weaknesses you kept giving in
But Jesus just wanted you to know that these battles by yourself
You would never win
So many nights you've ccried
Asking God why
Instead of just giving thanks that the Lord didn't allow you to die
You almost fell
The devil had you under a spell
Trying to deceive you
So that you wouldn't live to tell
So that you wouldn't live to tell that even though you've given in
There's a way
And because of this
It leaves no room for doubt
Now you've come to a place where you hunger and thirst after righteousness
And giving up the ways of sinfulness
So run and fight this good fight of faith
And lay hold on eternal life
The Word Of God saith
Hunger And Thirst
I'm on the grind
Making Jesus mine
Being that vessel that only He can use

Giving into my flesh

So why would I surrender to sin
Must be one that walks in the Spirit

He'll never fail me
Trusting in Him
Because this flesh
It'll always fail me
Crucifying Jesus afresh
I dare not try
Why would I do that
When in me
I desire for Him to abide
From Him I cannot hide
The seed springing up
The Word has been planted
On good ground
The joy of the Lord is what I've found

How the Lord has brought me through my tests and trails

Saying that I love Jesus Christ but do opposite of what He has said
Being that my obeidence is suppose to show forth my love
Disobedience taintens it
To the point where there's nothing else left
When constantly seeking approval of men
You tend to become lost within
Being told to do things the way that God says
Then tending to throw
Add in our own ideas
Tending to lose that fear
Losing that respect
That connection
That bond
One thing leads to another
Causing a domino affect
So yes
My obedience matter
No matter of the friendships
Relationships I may loose
Gods love
Grace
Trust in me
I will not abuse
The trying of my faith worketh
Brings forth
Births patience
And after patience is birthed
Then experience
After experience comes hope
So yeah
I'll go through this fire
Because going through this will cause me to come forth as purified gold
And my testimony of freedom

Steadfastness
Endurance
Will be told
You rather dig your own grave
Than to be saved
Rather live in a world of sin
Than to have Christ live within
Not grateful to the one who paid the price

Why should I allow my soul to be cast down
If its the joy of the Lord I've found
Why should I allow my gifts to be hidden
And cast them beneath the ground
Why allow myself to feel as if I've been forsaken
As if Jesus has ever left me
I must not allow myself to be mistaken
I've allowed myself to be a victim to my situations way too long
Gave into the down falls of my life
So quick to just accept the wrong
Allowed myself to be held captive
Being a slave to my thoughts
Looking for others to set me free
When the power is within me
But from this staggered situation I rise
Rise while tears flow from my eyes
Pressing on towards my prize
Doing what I need to do
So that God can take me a step further
No longer looking at what I don't have
For God will supply my every need
Seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness
And to me
He will show his faithfulness indeed
True Warriors
That's who we are
The anointing that we have
Shines brighter than any star
Our worship
Our praise
That's our weapon
Together we keep them demons steppin
When we come together in Jesus name
There's no stopping us
Chains being broken
That's a must
We go through things
Yes
But that only makes our praise that much more dangerous
Once we start
Our praise becomes contagious
So warriors
Lets face our battles
Let's continue to fight
That unspeakable anointing
Let us hold on tight

Do you really want to walk with the Lord
Or do you want the things of this world
That envy and greed
Saying that your handling Kingdom business
But what your doing is conforming to this world
Not only deceiving yourself
But deceiving every boy and girl

Submitting myself to him while watching them demons take flight

To be out of Him would be just pathetic
To be in Him

When you think that you've got Him figured out

Restoration
In Jesus Christ you'll find my dedication

For He is my consolation
When I'm overwhelmed I go to the ROCK
Jesus Christ takes care of His flock
Singing blessed assurance Jesus is mine
To be found in His will

Witnessing mercy and his grace
Not worring about having to be stoned in the face

To get things right
This must be understood
We are not to use it to satisfy the lust of this flesh
But to get it right and endure the test

Took on bodily form so that I could be delivered from mess

Jumped on it with no hesitation
Repented and have been water baptized
Received the remission of sin
Filled with the Holy Ghost
Walking around with the Greater within
No more chains
For my old man has been buried
Guilt and shame I no longer carry
Its all about the circumcision of the heart
And not that of the flesh
Welcoming in true salvation
And not wanting anything less
I'm nothing without Jesus Christ
I must confess
Been born again of the water
And also of the spirit
True repentance equals action
Water baptism in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost

How would it be impossible for you to do something like this
You came reconciling the world unto yourself

Do we really want to know Jesus Christ in all of His manifestations
Have we become too satisfied in just getting to know apart of Him
Without searching to know Him in His fullness
Have we tainted His pureness
Trying to behold Him with our natural mind
Haven't spent time with Him but yet we try to tell folks about His design
Repeating what you've heard others say
Who do you say that I the Son of Man am
Can't really tell because we're so busy chasing uncle Sam
Saying that we know Christ to be a provider
But yet we're missing out on our devotions
Skipping out on our prayer
Tryna make a name for ourselves to our boss
But have we counted up the cost
Having what we call free time
Time to do what we want to do
But did not Jesus say that after we've received the Holy Ghost that we would be witnesses
But yet we have all this free time
While folks are out there dyin
We'll keep time for ourselves
Then have the nerve to be around the alter cryin
Knowing Jesus in the power of His resurrection
But tend to run from the fellowship of His suffering
What happened to taking up our cross and following Him
Do we think that suffering is something that we don't have to endure
Wanting to be made
Wanting patience
Wanting faith
Desiring all this but yet not willing to go through the fire
Being Christ like
Is that really your desire
To live is Christ
And to die is gain
But in this stagnant condition
We rather remain
Its time for me to break loose from this curse
Allowing Christ to be manifested
If I want to know Him
Then I truly have to put Him first
